MG MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein Narrative Ver.

$79.99

The MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein began its life alongside the MSN-06S Sinanju as an Earth Federation prototype Mobile Suit constructed to test the capabilities of psychoframe-equipped Mobile Suits. Neo Zeon captured the pair of MSN-06S Sinanju Stein units and modified them with unique specifications. The MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein more closely resembles the initial Federation design, only featuring larger propellant tanks and a small number of engravings to showcase its affiliation with the Sleeves. The Sleeves presumably kept the MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein in reserve during the Laplace Incident, with its first appearance coming during Mobile Suit Gundam: Narrative in pursuit of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex.

Included alongside the MG Sinanju Stein Nar. for accessories:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Rocket Bazooka
  • Grenade Launcher
  • Shield
  • Beam Saber x2
  • Action Base Adapter

Articulation
 –

The MG Sinanju Stein features a complete internal construction using parts from the previously released Ver.Ka rendition, replacing the original ABS plastic components with all Polystyrene parts, reducing the likelihood of snapping off pieces of the model. The model features a functioning cockpit to reveal an empty seat, as Bandai did not include any pilot figures! The MG Sinanju Stein comes loaded with articulated panels and thrusters, showcasing the full extent of Bandai’s engineering expertise. The MG Sinanju Stein features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The Sinanju Stein includes a collapsable bazooka with a removable magazine containing five rounds. In the collapsed state, this weapon can also attach to the Mobile Suit’s Beam Rifle for a massive display of firepower! Builders can also attach the optics from the bazooka to the Beam Rifle or use the grenade launcher attached to the Shield as an under-barrel accessory. The Sinanju Stein’s Shield closely resembles the Shield used by the RX-93 Nu Gundam, showcasing the lineage of Anaheim Electronic’s psychoframe-equipped Mobile Suits.

Tips & Tricks

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the Sinanju Stein Narrative Ver. with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
