The Zeta Gundam was one of Anaheim Electronic’s first successful attempts at creating a transformable Mobile Suit. This state-of-the-art Mobile Suit is the brainchild of the AEUG’s newest member, Kamille Bidan, who joined the AEUG after helping them steal the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II units stationed in the Gryps Space Colony. The Zeta Gundam can transform into a massive aerial fighter known as a Waverider. In Waverider Mode, the Zeta Gundam can maneuver at incredible speeds while retaining most of the Mobile Suit’s functions. The Waverider performs just as well in the atmosphere as in space, giving it a significant advantage over other Mobile Suits. The Zeta Gundam was pivotal to the AEUG’s success during the Gryps Conflict and continued to fight on the frontlines alongside its successor, the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, in later conflicts.

Articulation –
The MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 is a vast improvement over the original Master Grade version released in 1996! The MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 provides a much more extensive range of motion than its predecessor, thanks to a decade of engineering improvements. The MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 offers a thorough transformation into Waverider Mode that does not require the removal of any components, giving the model a much more complete and realistic feel. You can elevate the MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 in either configuration using the included display base, which attaches to the MG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II AEUG Version 2.0‘s display base to recreate the interior of the Argama Assault Carrier.
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
The Zeta Gundam’s loadout includes the typical Gundam accoutrements, including a Beam Rifle, shield, and two Beam Sabers. You’ll also find a pair of wrist-mounted grenade launchers for the Zeta Gundam with a deployable barrel hidden inside the forearm. The MG Zeta Gundam 2.0 also includes the powerful Hyper Mega Launcher, which features a predominantly hollow construction to increase usability and prevent the weapon from sagging while equipped. The Mobile Suit’s Beam Rifle can attach to the forearms for storage.
