MG RMS-108 Marasai

$49.99

Anaheim Electronics initially developed the RMS-108 Marasai for the AEUG to use as a mass-production model. The RMS-108 Marasai was instead given to the Titans to prevent an unnecessary conflict with the hot-tempered organization. The RMS-108 Marasai was a vast improvement over the Federation-built RMS-106 Hi-Zack, featuring Gundarium Alloy armor and an improved powerplant. Unlike its predecessor, the RMS-108 Marasai can fully utilize Beam Weaponry. This HGUC version of the RMS-108 Marasai matches its appearance in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam animated series.

Included alongside the MG RMS-108 Marasai for accessories:

  • BR-87A Beam Rifle
  • Beam Saber x2
  • 1/100 Titans Pilot Figure
  • Action Base Adapter
  • Ballute System Adapter

Articulation
 –

The MG Marasai features a complete internal construction featuring a functioning cockpit and loads of surface detail. The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG Marasai benefits from individually molded heat pipe segments on its head, torso, and backpack for a finished look right out of the box! This model also supports Bandai’s Gunpla LED Unit Green in its torso to recreate the Mobile Suit’s activated Monoeye. Builders can adjust the monoeye’s position using a dial underneath the Marasai’s head armor.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The BR-87A Beam Rifle features a removable e-pac and handle. This weapon outputs a maximum of 2.2 MW, .3 higher than the RX-78-2 Gundams Beam Rifle. The RMS-108 Marasai uses a pair of unusually long Beam Sabers for close-quarters engagements. The Beam Sabers attach to the inside of the Shoulder Shield to recharge when not in use. Bandai included a set of transparent yellow Beam Effects to recreate the RMS-108 Marasai’s activated Beam Sabers. Builders can adjust the position of the Marasai’s shoulder shield to reflect the Mobile Suit’s inactive state.

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the RMS-108 Marasai with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
