MG WD-M01 Turn A Gundam

$45.89

The WD-M01 Turn A Gundam is the star of the Turn ∀ Gundam animated series. This super unique Gundam comes from the mind of Syd Mead, most famous for his work on the Blade Runner movies. The WD-M01 Turn A Gundam comes from a time long after any other Gundam Series. Much of the technology that makes up the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam is unknown to the characters in the show. This Mobile Suit has many unique features, including a state-of-the-art I-Field Beam Drive. This system works together with the Turn ∀ Gundam’s DHGCP to provide effortless movement of the Mobile Suit’s limbs. This technology requires very little hardware in the Mobile Suit’s frame, leaving behind several hollow sections on the Mobile Suit. Included amongst them is a chest cavity that can attach missile launchers or serve as storage locations. The Turn ∀ Gundam utilizes a variation of the Core Block System, which seats the pilot in a transformable aircraft to provide a means of escape during a catastrophic failure. Unlike the Core Fighters of centuries past, the Turn A Gundam Gundam’s Core Fighter attaches to the Mobile Suit’s waist, with its wings serving as the Gundam’s front skirt armor.

Included alongside the MG Turn ∀ Gundam for accessories:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Beam Saber x2
  • Shield
  • Gundam Hammer
  • 1/100 Loran Cehack Figure
  • 1/100 Cow Figure
  • Action Base Adapter

Articulation
 –

The MG Turn A Gundam features a complete internal construction without any polycaps, ensuring the model’s articulation will be just as excellent as the day you bought it for years to come! This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG Turn ∀ Gundam features several articulated hatches on either side of its torso that will reveal an array of hidden weapons within! The Core Fighter included with the MG Turn ∀ Gundam is fully transformable and features a 1/100 scale Loran Cehack figure seated inside!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The MG Turn A Gundam includes a super-futuristic and unique Beam Rifle as its primary armament. Bandai accurately replicated this weapon’s mode-change and the dial for adjusting the Beam Rifle’s output. Builders can attach this weapon to an optional adapter fitted underneath the model’s left shoulder armor for storage. There is an additional attachment point on the right shoulder for builders to attach the Shield when not in use. The MG Turn A Gundam also includes a Gundam Hammer, which functions identically to the one used by the RX-78-2 Gundam.

12 Runners total (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, HM1, SB7)

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the MG WD-M01 Turn A Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
