The Gundam Shenlong EW is the Hajime Katoki redesign of the original Gundam Shenlong from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, which features an updated version of all your favorite After Colony Mobile Suits from the hands of Hajime Katoki! Of the Gundam units created to participate in Operation Meteor, the Shenlong Gundam is the most capable machine in close-quarters combat, reflecting its creator’s expertise in martial arts. The Shenlong Gundam features a specialized loadout of close-range weapons designed to take full advantage of the Mobile Suit’s abilities, only utilizing head-mounted Vulcan Cannons for ranged weapons.

Articulation –

The MG Gundam Shenlong EW borrows most of its internal construction from the previously released MG XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe EW, lending a complete inner frame supported by polycaps. The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing the Mobile Suit with a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses! The MG Gundam Shenlong features a functioning cockpit hatch to reveal the 1/100 Chang Wufei seated within!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Shenlong Gundam EW includes a massive Beam Trident as its primary weapon instead of the Beam Glaive used by its anime counterpart. The Beam Trident and the Beam Glaive both feature an extended handle and a single beam emitter, with the Beam Trident producing a more pronounced three-pronged blade. Builders can attach the Beam Trident to the Mobile Suit’s backpack when not in use. The Shenlong Gundam EW includes a small circular shield, giving the Mobile Suit an additional line of defense without compromising its mobility. The Shenlong Shield also functions as a weapon if thrown toward enemy Mobile Suits, essentially becoming a Mobile Suit-sized discus. The Shenlong Gundam EW’s most iconic weapon is the Dragon Fang attached to its right arm. This massive claw can grab hold of enemy Mobile Suits and features two flamethrowers to melt through their armor.
