MG XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock EW

The XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock EW is the Hajime Katoki redesign of the original Gundam Sandrock from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, which features an updated version of all your favorite After Colony Mobile Suits from the hands of Hajime Katoki! Professor H built the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock with the support of the Winner Family, whose heir would eventually become the sole pilot of the Sandrock. The XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock was designed for desert combat and is especially effective in melee combat. Of the G-Team Gundams, the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock is the most heavily armored, which, coupled with Quatre’s exceptional piloting skill, made the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock almost invincible!

Articulation –

The MG Gundam Sandrock EW borrows most of its internal construction from the previously released MG XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe EW, lending a complete inner frame supported by polycaps. The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing the Mobile Suit with a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses! The MG Gundam Deathscythe features a functioning cockpit hatch to reveal the 1/100 Quatre Raberba Winner seated within!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock’s primary weapons are a pair of Heat Shotels. The Heat Shotels generate an immense amount of heat, capable of bisecting an enemy Mobile Suit vertically. Bandai included two transparent red blade effect parts to recreate the activated Heat Shotels. When not deployed, the Heat Shotels plug into the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock’s backpack. To create the XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock’s Cross Crusher, attach the Heat Shotels to the inside of the Shield on the unit’s forearm. This weapon ensnares enemy Mobile Suits and quickly makes two halves of it before they inevitably explode in a blaze of glory. Builders can also attach the Mobile Suit’s Beam Machine Gun to the side skirt when not in use.
