The MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam was one of Anaheim Electronic’s first successful attempts at creating a transformable Mobile Suit. This state-of-the-art Mobile Suit is the brainchild of the AEUG’s newest member, Kamille Bidan, who joined the AEUG after helping them steal the RX-178 Gundam Mk-II units stationed in the Gryps Space Colony. The MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam can transform into a massive aerial fighter known as a Waverider. In Waverider Mode, the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam can maneuver at incredible speeds while retaining most of the Mobile Suit’s functions. The Waverider performs just as well in the atmosphere as in space, giving it a significant advantage over other Mobile Suits. The Zeta Gundam was pivotal to the AEUG’s success during the Gryps Conflict and continued to fight on the frontlines alongside its successor, the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, in later conflicts.
