RG #19 MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame

The Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of five Gundam Astray units assembled in secret by the Orb Union. In their original configuration, the Gundam Astrays were identical, distinguished only by the color of their internal frame (as the name would suggest). Orb engineers utilized data stolen from the Earth Alliance’s G Project, effectively copying their beam technology but unable to recreate the G-Project Gundam’s Phase Shift Armor. Instead, The Gundam Astray Red Frame and its sisters utilize much lighter and less restrictive armor, granting them a significant increase in maneuverability and handling compared to the Earth Alliance Units. After a series of events, the Red Frame fell into the hands of Junk Guild member Lowe Guele, who would soon become the Mobile Suit’s pilot.

Articulation –

The RG Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of many Real Grade models utilizing pre-molded inner frame pieces in its assembly. These parts combine hard and soft plastics to create large movable joint sections, to which builders apply additional frame pieces and armor over the pre-molded parts. The RG Gundam Astray Red Frame uses twice as many pieces as its High Grade counterpart, providing much greater color accuracy on the 1/144th scale. The RG Gundam Astray Red Frame comes with a brand new MS Joint dual molded in red and white plastic! This frame provides the Gundam Astray Red Frame with an excellent range of motion and improves the model’s color separation. The Gundam Astray Red Frame’s streamlined profile accentuates its ability to create dynamic poses on the ground or hoisted in the air on an Action Base.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Each armament features updated designs loaded with surface detail without straying from the silhouette of the source material. These weapons feature the same excellent color separation as the Astray Red Frame, providing some of the best-looking 1/144 scale weapons Bandai has ever made! The Gerbera Straight included with the Gundam Astray Red Frame features a chrome-plated blade, providing builders with a supreme finish right out of the box! This weapon fits right into the included sheath, which builders can attach to the Mobile Suit’s thigh when not in use. The Gundam Astray Red Frame Beam Rifle also connects to the Mobile Suit’s rear skirt for storage.
