The XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X1 belongs to the self-proclaimed “pirates” of the Crossbone Vanguard, and what a perfect match it is! This bite-sized Mobile Suit comes from the same development program as the F91 Gundam F91 but received a new model number to hide its origin. The Crossbone Vanguard used the XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X1 to lead their Mobile Suit forces against the Jupiter Empire. The XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X1 received enhancements to withstand the immense gravitational forces surrounding Jupiter, including the iconic X-shaped boosters. These boosters come attached to the Crossbone Gundam’s Core Fighter, which docks inside the Mobile Suit’s back after a brief transformation. Like many high-maneuvering Mobile Suits, the Crossbone Gundam requires an immensely skilled pilot to reach its full potential. The Crossbone Gundam also features a loadout of weapons designed to provide a significant advantage during close quarters combat, reflecting the fighting philosophy of the Crossbone Vanguard.

Articulation –
The RG Crossbone Gundam is one of many early Real Grade models utilizing pre-molded inner frame pieces in its assembly. These parts combine hard and soft plastics to create large movable joint sections, to which builders apply additional frame pieces and armor over the pre-molded parts. The RG Crossbone Gundam uses significantly fewer pre-molded parts than previous Real Grade releases, only utilizing them within the Core Fighter and the Mobile Suit’s torso. The RG Crossbone Gundam uses twice as many pieces as its High Grade counterpart, providing much greater color accuracy on the 1/144th scale. The Anti-Beam Coating Mantle will fit snugly over the Mobile suit’s body, providing four posable sections to create dynamic poses while the Crossbone Gundam dons the mantle.
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
Each armament features updated designs loaded with surface detail without straying from the silhouette of the source material. These weapons feature the same excellent color separation as the Crossbone Gundam, providing some of the best-looking 1/144 scale weapons Bandai has ever made! The Crossbone Gundam’s Beam Zanber features a uniquely designed beam effect for excellent posing action. Builders who can combine the Buster Gun and Beam Zamber to create the aptly named Zambuster. Hiding inside the Crossbone Gundam’s calves are the handles to a pair of Heat Daggers. The blades for these weapons also attach to the Crossbone Gundam’s feet, creating wonderfully dangerous kicks!
