RG EVA-06 Evangelion Mark 06

The Evangelion Mark 06 began its life at NERV’s Tabgha Base on the Moon, where SEELE secretly constructed this powerful and unique unit. The mysterious methods used to complete the Evangelion Mark 06 granted it extraordinary abilities such as levitation and a limitless power supply. While activated, the Evangelion Mark 06 projects a little pink halo above its head, similar to the halo present during Evangelion Unit 01’s awakening. The Evangelion Mark 06 is the first Evangelion to bare the “Mark” naming scheme, which denotes it as a product of SEELE. The Evangelion Mark 06 made its full debut during Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance after being teased during the first film.

Articulation –

The RG Evangelion Mark 06 is well known for its commitment to recreating the organic movements of Hideaki Anno’s gigantic humanoid mechs. The internals of the Evangelion Mark 06 are unlike any preceding model kit, providing countless articulation points hidden within the model’s narrow silhouette. By skipping out on a complete inner frame, Bandai created an accurately proportioned model with an incredible range of motion and impressive exterior detailing! The intelligent use of layering techniques and multi-injection molds throughout gives Evangelion Mark 06 a shelf-worthy appearance right out of the box! The RG Evangelion Mark 06 features an additional torso section, making this model slightly taller and more flexible than previous RG Evangelion releases. The Evangelion Mark 06 includes an action base adapter that fits snugly beneath the Entry Plug hatch, allowing builders to hoist the model into the air and recreate the Mark 06’s iconic descent from the Moon! This piece also functions as the attachment point for the Evangelion Mark 06’s halo.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Unlike previous Evangelion models, the Evangelion Mark 06’s shoulder pylons do not contain hidden Progressive Knives. The only weapon included alongside the Evangelion Mark 06 is the massive Spear of Cassius, the counterpart to the Spear of Longinus appearing in the Rebuild Evangelion film series. The Spear of Cassius is an extraterrestrial weapon sent to the Earth alongside Lilith and Adam to control and restrain the two Seeds of Life. With the Spear of Cassius equipped, Evangelion Mark 06 can easily disable other Evangelion, as demonstrated in its arrival on Earth.
