SD G Generation-F #209 Rx-93 Nu Gundam

$8.99

The RX-93 Nu Gundam is one of the most famous Mobile Suits piloted by Amuro Ray. Of his personal suits, the RX-93 Nu Gundam is easily one of the most powerful, thanks to its psychoframe construction and many other state-of-the-art improvements. Amuro would use the RX-93 Nu Gundam to defend Earth from the falling Axis Base. The Nu Gundam is the first Federation Mobile Suit to utilize Psychoframe parts in its construction, a technology acquired from Char Aznable himself, who leaked the specifications to the Earth Federation in hopes of fighting Amuro Ray in equally matched Mobile Suits. The Nu Gundam was also one of the first and only Gundam Mobile Suits to utilize remote-controlled Fin Funnels, which employ built-in generators instead of rechargeable E-Packs.

Included alongside the SD Nu Gundam for accessories:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Shield
  • Hyper Bazooka
  • Beam Saber (Unpainted)
  • Fin Funnel Set
  • HWS Armor
  • HWS Shield

Articulation
 –

The SD Nu Gundam features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, as it was the first rendition of this Mobile Suit in the SD BB Senshi line! The SD BB Senshi is the longest-running Gunpla line in history, beginning in 1987 and still receiving new entries almost 40 years later! Each model in this line features a simple construction with basic articulation to create different poses. The SD Nu Gundam includes a set of additional armor panels to create the Mobile Suit’s HWS configuration. Bandai provided a sheet of color-correcting stickers to help builders recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the SD G Generation-F #209 Rx-93 Nu Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
