SD G Generation Neo #234 MSN-02 Perfect Zeong

$10.99

The MSN-02 Zeong is one of many Mobile Suits used by the Principality of Zeon’s Ace, Char Aznable, during the One Year War. Char sortied in the Zeong for the first and only time during the Battle of A Baoa Qu while the Mobile Suit was still in an incomplete state. The most notable omission from Zeong’s silhouette is the lack of Mobile Suit legs, which do not affect the Mobile Suit’s performance in space. In place of the gigantic legs designed for the Zeong, the Mobile Suit features an array of articulated thrusters beneath its skirt armor to improve flight characteristics in space. The MSN-02 Zeong was the first Mobile Suit to utilize wire-guided Psycommu weapons. With these weapons, Newtype pilots like Char Aznable could perform ranged and close-quarters attacks using their thoughts to manipulate the Psycommu-equipped weapons. The Zeong could also operate comparably using two Oldtype pilots, one to control the Mobile Suit and another to operate the weaponry.

Included alongside the SD Zeong for accessories:

  • Perfect Zeong Configuration Parts

The SD Zeong features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, as it’s the first rendition of this Mobile Suit since Bandai released the original SD BB Senshi #16 Zeong way back in 1988! The SD BB Senshi is the longest-running Gunpla line in history, beginning in 1987 and still receiving new entries almost 40 years later! Each model in this line features a simple construction with basic articulation to create different poses. The SD Zeong features an alternate set of legs that builders can use to replace the Mobile Suit’s main thrusters. The SD Zeong also includes a PVC wire to display the Mobile Suit’s wire-guided manipulators in an active state. Bandai provided a sheet of color-correcting stickers to help builders recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

This kit includes:

4 Runners total (A, B, C, PC123+)
Total Piece Count – 63 with 13 Unused Parts

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the SD #234 MSN-02 Perfect Zeong with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
