SDGW Heroes #09 Wukong Impulse Gundam DX Set

The Wukong Impulse Gundam just got a whole lot cooler, thanks to Bandai’s Wukong Impulse Gundam DX Set! This model kit includes the Wukong Impulse Gundam and its Wukong Silhouette, with two additional Silhouette Packs representing Wukong’s dormant personalities. With the Wukong Impulse Gundam DX Set, you’ll have the parts necessary to recreate all six forms of Wukong, excluding the seventh, Qitian Dasheng Wukong Impulse Gundam Douzhan Shengfo, which will now release in the first half of 2022 as its own model!

The Sha Wujing Silhouette grants Wukong an immense boost to speed and maneuverability, striking down foes with a calculated strategy, something Wukong would never do on his own. Appearance-wise, Sha Wujing manifests as a pair of gigantic Soenjin blades mounted to Wukongs feet, represented with transparent blue plastic. This Silhouette also includes new shoulder armor, an additional spike for the head, a new necklace, and a sweet powered-up effect for the Wukong Impulse Gundam’s right eye.

The Zhu Bajie personality also lies dormant within Wukong, providing Wukong with a deep loyalty for his friends. Zhu Bajie excels in close quarters combat, as its primary addition to the Wukong Impulse Gundam is a gigantic pair of gauntlets. These gauntlets host a massive set of transparent red fists, drastically increasing Zhu Bajie’s striking power. Inverting the gauntlet reveals a set of Gurengosoha, multiple sharp spearheads attached to each gauntlet, increasing Zhu Bajie’s striking range significantly. The Zhu Bajie Silhouette adds additional skirt armor, decorated with transparent red tusks and a golden ribbon. Additionally, Zhu Bajie includes an additional headdress for Wukong Impulse, featuring a transparent red power-up effect for the left eye.

To achieve Konzenkoou Form, simply combine your Wukong Impulse Gundam with both Silhouettes and their respective pieces. This form combines the speed of Sha Wujing with the overwhelming strength of Zhu Bajie, becoming almost unstoppable. With all three personalities manifesting at the same time, Wukong can take advantage of each of their greatest strengths, ensuring victory for himself and his friends.
