Ver.ka MG MSN-06S Sinanju Stein

$72.98

The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein is an Earth Federation prototype Mobile Suit constructed to test the capabilities of psychoframe-equipped Mobile Suits. The Federation built two identical Sinanju Stein units based on the RX-93 Nu Gundam and the MSN-04 Sazabi, two of the most deadly Mobile Suits constructed by UC0093. The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein provided consequential data on the application of Psychoframe components as a part of a Mobile Suits frame, furthering Anaheim Electronic’s development of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein prototype eventually fell into the hands of The Sleeves, a Neo-Zeon Remnant Group, as a part of a shady deal with corrupt executives within Anaheim Electronics. The Sleeves would later modify their newly acquired Mobile Suits into the MSN-06S Sinanju and the MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein, refitting both Mobile Suits with updated armor plating and weapons.

This model builds into the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein as it initially appeared during its testing runs with Anaheim Electronics before any Neo-Zeon Remnant modifications. The MG Sinanju features a complete internal construction using parts from the previously released Ver.Ka rendition of the MSN-06S Sinanju, replacing the original ABS plastic components with all Polystyrene parts, reducing the likelihood of snapping off pieces of the model. The model features functioning cockpit hatches that will reveal the 1/100 Full Frontal Figure seated inside! This model comes loaded with articulated panels and thrusters, showcasing the full extent of Bandai’s engineering expertise. The MG Sinanju features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein’s High Beam Rifle is a development of the Beam Rifle included in the Heavy Weapon System plans for the RX-93 Nu Gundam. The Sinanju Stein’s Shield also shares many similarities with the RX-93 Nu Gundam’s equipment, featuring the same general shape and missile launcher. The Sinanju Stein includes a collapsable bazooka with a removable magazine containing five rounds. Builders can attach this weapon to the Mobile Suit’s back skirt when not in use.

Tips & Tricks

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
