Ver.ka MG RX-93 V2 Hi Nu Gundam

The RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam is the alternate version of the RX-93 Nu Gundam showcased in the novelization Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchicka’s Children. The Hi-Nu Gundam and the Nu Gundam share a similar backstory; both were initially constructed without any psychoframe parts and later upgraded using the remains of the MSN-03-2 Psycho Doga(the alternate version of the Jagd Doga). The Hi-Nu Gundam was one of the first and only Gundam Mobile Suits to utilize remote-controlled Fin Funnels, which employ built-in generators in place of rechargeable E-Packs. The Hi-Nu Gundam features a much more streamlined containment method for its fin funnels, utilizing a pair of articulated binders attached to its backpack. The Mobile Suit also features a pair of booster-equipped propellant tanks strapped to its back, increasing its operation time.

Articulation –

The MG Hi-Nu Gundam features a complete internal construction supported by an array of polycaps. This model features a functioning cockpit hatch on its torso that showcases the 1/100 Amuro Ray Figure seated within! The MG Hi-Nu Gundam also features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG Hi-Nu Gundam Ver. Ka supports the use of Bandai’s Gunpla LED Unit Green within its torso, providing modelers with a simple means to add lighting to this already impressive model. The MG Nu Gundam Ver. Ka includes a bespoke display base in the shape of Amuro Ray’s personal insignia. This base comes with six smaller display arms for showcasing the Fin Funnels in an activated state.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam features a wrist-mounted Gatling Gun, which could either fire beam projectiles or ballistic rounds depending on the source material. Builders can reveal this weapon by articulating the panels on its forearms and extending the barrel. The Mobile Suit’s Hyper Bazooka attaches to the Mobile Suit’s backpack when not in use. The RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam’s and the original Nu Gundam’s Shields Are almost identical, featuring the same array of missiles strapped to their interior.
