HG Seed R10 GAT-X370 Raider Gundam

$19.99

The GAT-X370 Raider Gundam is a second-generation GAT-X series Mobile Suit developed by the Earth Alliance in a joint venture with the Azrael Conglomerate. The GAT-X370 Raider Gundam utilizes the same X300 series frame as the GAT X-303 Aegis Gundam, allowing the Mobile Suit to transform into a powerful Mobile Armor. The Mobile Armor Form significantly improves the GAT-X370 Raider Gundam’s thrust and maneuvering capabilities, enabling atmospheric flight for an extended period. While in Mobile Armor Form, the GAT-X370 Raider Gundam could serve as a sub-flight unit for other Mobile Suits without full atmospheric flight capabilities. The GAT-X370 Raider Gundam first sortied alongside the GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam and the GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam during the Battle of Orb.

Included alongside the HG Raider Gundam for accessories:

  • Dual 52mm Hyper-Velocity Shield Cannon
  • “Mjollnir” Hammer
  • M2M3 76mm Machine Gun Part x2

The HG Raider Gundam is a rereleased version of the original HG SEED #11 Raider Gundam released in 2003 with a new color scheme, more accurately portraying its anime appearance. This model features double-jointed knees, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Raider Gundam features a built-in attachment point where builders can attach an Action Base 2 for an elevated display in either configuration! This model includes small sheets of color-correcting and marking stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Raider Gundam includes the Dual 52mm Hyper-Velocity Shield Cannon, a lightweight and small form-factor weapon designed for easy use during close-quarters combat. The HG Raider Gundam also sorties with the “Mjollnir” Hammer, a unique handheld melee weapon with a massive flail head attached to a posable wire! Bandai provided two M2M3 76mm Machine Gun Parts that builders can connect to the HG Raider Gundam while in Mobile Armor Mode.

HG R10 GAT-X370 Raider Gundam

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG R10 GAT-X370 Raider Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
