MG MBF-P02KAI Gundam Astray Red Frame

$61.99

The Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai is the modified version of the Gundam Astray Red Frame created by Lowe Guele after his initial battle with the LN-GAT-X207 Nebula Blitz Gundam. The Astray Red Frame’s main body is unchanged and identical to the previous version, with the only differences coming with the inclusion of the Tactical Arms IIL and the “Tiger Pierce” Katana. The Red Frame Kai no longer carries the Type 71 Beam Rifle and Shield designed for all five Astray Mobile Suits. The Tactical Arms IIL is noticeably different than the Tactical Arms II used by the Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise, featuring a Beam Torch instead of a Gatling Gun and four new forms.

Included alongside the Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai for accessories:

  • “Gerbera Straight” Katana
  • “Tiger Pierce” Katana
  • Tactical Arms IIL
  • Beam Torch
  • 1/100 Lowe Guele Figure

The Astray Red Frame Kai’s Tactical Arms IIL can transform into six different configurations, each offering its own unique benefits. There are three non-combat configurations, with the first being the V Form. The V Form is the standard configuration of the Tactical Arms IIL, setting the equipment in position for an easy transformation into the remaining forms. The Delta Form gives the Astray Red Frame full access to the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system. The final non-combat configuration, Flight Form, transforms the Tactical Arms into a set of wings, granting the Red Frame atmospheric flight capabilities.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The Tactical Arms IIL features the same Sword Form configuration as the Blue Frame’s Tactical Arms II, which creates a massive dual-edged sword to cripple enemy Mobile Suits. Unique to the Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai is Tactical Arms IIL’s Arrow Form, which transforms it into a massive bow-like structure that fires beam projectiles. In this form, the pilot can utilize the Voiture Lumiere System to manipulate the trajectory of the beam arrow. The Tactical Arms IIL’s Work Form is similar to Sword Form, except the blade is separated into two massive pincers to sever the limbs of enemy Mobile Suits.

Both katanas come with chrome-plated blades for a supreme finish right out of the box!

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the Gundam Astray Red Frame with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
