Ver.ka MG MS-06R Zaku High Mobility Type Psycho Zaku

The Psycho Zaku is an experimental prototype Mobile Suit operated by the Principality of Zeon’s Living Dead Division. This Mobile Suit’s most notable feature is its Reuse “P” Device Operating System, which allows the pilot to control the Psycho Zaku using thought alone. This powerful equipment served as the precursor to psycommu technology, giving its user a significant advantage over standard Mobile Suits. Unlike a traditional psycommu system, the Reuse “P” Device uses a physical connection to its user, requiring a quadruple-amputee pilot to utilize the Mobile Suit’s full capabilities.

Articulation –

The MG Psycho Zaku Ver. Ka was the first of Bandai’s Master Grade Gundam models to release with English instructions inside the manual! This model also shares some of its assembly with the previously released MG MS-06R-1A Zaku II Ver. 2.0, with tons of new parts to make room for the array of vernier thrusters covering the Psycho Zako. Thankfully, Bandai included a sizable display stand to showcase this massive model kit and the full extent of its posability. Bandai also provided an additional display base to help maintain the model’s balance in a traditional standing pose.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Psycho Zaku features a wide assortment of weaponry attached to its backpack. The backpack also features two articulated sub-arms, allowing the Mobile Suit to wield four weapons simultaneously. Builders can also completely collapse the sub-arms, just like in the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt OVA! The most notable “Katokification” of the MG Psycho Zaku is the addition of the massive booster pod seated between the smaller pair of boosters. The middle section and its support struts are easily removable, giving builders the option to create a more accurate display and save some room on their shelves.
