MG RGM-96X Jesta

The RGM-96X Jesta is a development of the RGM-89 Jegan by Anaheim Electronics to serve as the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam‘s escort while in Unicorn Mode. The Jestas also sought to fend off standard Mobile Suits so the Unicorn could face off against more powerful Newtype targets, a tactic seen since the inception of Newtype-Use Mobile Suits. The RGM-96X features vastly improved thrust capabilities, enabling the Mobile Suit to escort the speedy Unicorn Gundam. Only a dozen RGM-96X Jesta units would see production, with at least one of them becoming the RGM-96X Jesta Cannon.

Articulation –

The MG Jesta is a fully featured Master Grade with a complete inner frame and a functioning cockpit. The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG Jesta’s Shield comes attached to an articulated sub-arm that allows the Mobile Suit to unequip the shield without disposing of it. This model supports Bandai’s preassembled LED units, with a recommended color choice for the MG Jesta of red. The Mobile Suit’s backpack features two ball-jointed thrusters, further improving the model’s posability.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Jesta includes a custom Beam Rifle designed to fit their specific combat role. This weapon features a removable magazine with three spares stored inside the Mobile Suits forearms for some awesome reloading action! The forward grip on the Beam Rifle is articulated, making it much easier to create poses with both hands on the weapon. Like its predecessor, the Jesta also sorties with a single Beam Saber for close-quarters combat. The Beam Saber will slot into the left forearm when not in use. The Jesta’s handheld weapons feature an unfolding tab, ensuring a secure hold in either hand.
