The RX-93 Nu Gundam is one of the most famous Mobile Suits piloted by Amuro Ray. Of his personal suits, the RX-93 Nu Gundam is easily one of the most powerful, thanks to its psychoframe construction and many other state-of-the-art improvements. Amuro would use the RX-93 Nu Gundam to defend Earth from the falling Axis Base during the Second Neo Zeon War. The Nu Gundam is the first Federation Mobile Suit to utilize Psychoframe parts in its construction, a technology acquired from Char Aznable himself, who leaked the specifications to the Earth Federation in hopes of fighting Amuro Ray in equally matched Mobile Suits. The Nu Gundam was also one of the first and only Gundam Mobile Suits to utilize remote-controlled Fin Funnels, which employ built-in generators in place of rechargeable E-Packs.

Articulation –
The RG Nu Gundam is one of many early Real Grade models utilizing pre-molded inner frame pieces in its assembly. These parts combine hard and soft plastics to create large movable joint sections, to which builders apply additional frame pieces and armor over the pre-molded parts. The only pieces of the RG Nu Gundam to utilize these premolded parts are the fin funnels. Each joint section within the Nu Gundam requires assembly, increasing the build time but providing a much sturdier final product. The RG Nu Gundam uses twice as many pieces as its High Grade counterpart, providing much greater color accuracy on the 1/144th scale. The RG Nu Gundam features numerous armor sliding gimmicks to give the model a realistic and dynamic feel in any pose!
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
Each armament features updated designs loaded with surface detail without straying from the silhouette of the source material. These weapons feature the same excellent color separation as the Nu Gundam, providing some of the best-looking 1/144 scale weapons Bandai has ever made! All six of Nu Gundam’s Fin Funnels snap into each other in two places, ensuring a solid connection. The Hyper Bazooka slots into the backpack like in the movie too! The primary Beam Saber attaches to the Nu Gundam’s backpack and includes a unique pair of Beam Effects to recreate the Double-bladed action! The RX-93 Nu Gundam’s forearm contains a spare Beam Saber for emergency use. There is an alternate Beam Effect included for deploying this weapon too!
